To be truly successful in your field of choice you must accept the uneasiness, discomfort, stress and pain you will feel while pursuing your goals. Impulsively we wish we can achieve our goals with ease, safety and comfort, however if that was so than everyone would be successful, happy, rich and fulfilled. The reality about life is that it’s hard, it’s hard to find meaning in life, it’s hard to find love, it’s hard to find a career that’ll support your lifestyle. You must remember though that it is possible to find meaning, to find love and to find a fulfilling career, the only real question is are you willing to suffer for it? Which is hard to completely answer as yes because we are born with certain behaviors to keep us safe and alive. You must change the way you see discomfort or pain, you must examine whether this suffering will get closer to completing your goal. Realize there are two pains in life: good pain, in which you voluntarily suffer to improve yourself and bad pain, where the suffering gives you no benefit. Be willing to push beyond your comfort zone and you’ll find that you can expand your life in all aspects. You possess tremendous amount of potential and the only way for you to find it is going forth facing your fears and discomfort.
