Motivational Quote of the Week:

“Happiness is not the surplus of pleasant over unpleasant moments. Rather, happiness consists in seeing one’s life in its entirety as meaningful and worthwhile.” -Yuval Noah Harari

It’s quite easy to assume that happiness equals only the most comforting and pleasant moments in our lives. However, I believe true happiness is reflected in the depth of all events in your life, including the most unpleasant. Our character is developed and formed by both the chaotic and orderly moments. The unpleasant events we experience allow us to reflect our current state and see what we can improve to avoid future unpleasantries. Our most pleasant moments usually arise from unpleasant ones, in which we endured a certain amount of stress to achieve a goal. The process of facing tremendous difficulty and overcoming it, gives us the most meaning in our lives because when we reflect upon that event we witness our own human  potential. We get the most profounding evidence that we’re able to create and improve our lives when we sacrifice ourselves to unpleasant moments to create the life we want to live. Don’t avoid the stress and struggle that’s inherently within our lives and instead accept them as the cost to create your life. We as human beings are capable of achieving great things, but the only way we can discover the limit of what we can achieve is to face the chaos in our world.
