Motivational Quote of the Week

"If you want this to be your year: don’t sit on the couch and wait for it. Go out. Make a change. Smile more. Be excited. Do new things. Throw away clutter. Unfollow negative people on social media. Go to bed early. Wake Up early. Don’t gossip. Show more gratitude. Do things that challenge you. Be brave.” -Unknown

Every year millions of people around the world become hopeful that this year is going to be the year that’ll change everything for them. They’re hopeful that their new year’s resolutions to: get in better shape, form better relationships, become more positive and generally have a better life will come true. The key factor that’ll make any new year’s resolution to be true is whether it becomes an ingrained part of that individual’s life. Example, if you want to get into better shape start today by watching what you eat and exercising. Make a daily effort to follow through with your goals till it becomes a weekly routine, which will turn into a monthly habit and so forth. The hardest aspect of this process will be refusing to go back to your old habits. Those moments when you debate with yourself to go to the gym or stay home, to eat a healthy meal at home or get fast food. In those moments of hesitation you MUST refuse to give in and instead remind yourself to keep pursuing your goals. Creating a new habit or routine takes a long time before it becomes second nature and within that length of time you will struggle. However, the process of achieving your goals and creating a new habit will payoff. Remember you have the ability to create a positive change in your life, you just need to put forth the effort and time.
