A disciplined martial artists is able to land pin point strikes and blocks to effectively stop their attacker. Believing power is the only attribute to improve will leave the lone martial artists vulnerable to a quicker and skilled attacker. Strength is an easy attribute to improve, don't allow this temptation convince you that power is all you need. Toughness is a characteristic a martial artists should develop with other various skills like: coordination, speed, reaction time and endurance.
