Motivational Quote of the Week (7/11/16)

Motivational Quote of the Week:

"There is no shame in losing - It is not a shame to be knocked down by other people. The important thing is to ask when you're being knocked down, "Why am I being knocked down?" If a person can reflect in this way, then there is hope for this person." -Bruce Lee

Self-reflection is an important aspect of being able to improve yourself honestly. For if we assume nothing can be done to improve ourselves, than we are only limiting ourselves to that standard. We must be willing to be honest with ourselves and admit our on faults, that's the first important step to improving your technique. Secondly, we must proactively correct ourselves to create a healthy habit of productiveness. As we go through this process we must keep in mind that we must be willing to do this same habit over and over. For if we believe our technique can not be improved any more, we'll only put ourselves in a plateau. In which, this plateau may become our new habit and that's why we must stay persistent to always improve ourselves. A true martial artists understands that there can not be a plateau because we wouldn't be setting a good example or being honest to ourselves. A constant habit of improvement keeps us humble and motivates us to improve other aspects of our lives.

Everyday is an opportunity for you to better than you were yesterday!!!
